Good Links Update 11/12/12
- Hussein Ibish has some interesting thoughts about how Arab-Americans can better organize themselves politically. He also was very gracious in a quick Twitter conversation with me.
- I’ve been listening to the band Real Estate a lot lately, they’re really, really good and here’s a plug.
- The Forward‘s “Forward 50″ list has been released and it’s just as unsurprising and bland as one would expect (though learning Errol Morris is Jewish is pretty neat).
- This reflection on a postcard response sent by David Foster Wallace is a pleasant way to take some time out of your day.
- Two New York Times editorial page links today: one is a piece by Foreign Policy military blogger Thomas E. Ricks about the failure of accountability in the highest echelons of the military, and the other is an op-ed from J Street’s own Jeremy Ben-Ami about how this election should effectively destroy the trope that Jews are single-issue (that issue being Israel) voters. As if previous election cycles weren’t enough evidence already.
